Who we are

The YA PA ministry comprises young and dynamic individuals who have a passion for sound, and for forming an essential backbone for any worship service- the sound crew.

We have come a long way from our simple set-ups in a small worship hall with a mobile sound reinforcement system. Today, we are immensely grateful to God for a spacious auditorium, complete with a stage, lighting and fixed sound reinforcement system to facilitate our worship services.

It is our goal to be able to minister to the worship band and the congregation at large through the provision of our passionate and heartfelt service. In the same vein, we remain prayerful that the Lord will continue to lead, guide, and empower us- so that we may continually grow in Him, and develop a heart of worship.

What we do

We provide support (in terms of setting up for, and mixing) for our weekly Young Adults worship services, bi-monthly Prayer and Praise sessions, and for ministry related events within, and outside the church.

In addition to our service to the Young Adults ministry, members from the Young Adults PA also serve our church family on a greater scale during our monthly combined services and special events. A partnership programme with members from the SWS PA team provides the perfect opportunity for our team members to learn how to operate the bigger sound-reinforcement system as installed in our Sanctuary. This helps our team members to continually broaden their perspective, developing team playing skills, and gain technical skills that is useful and relevant beyond the confines of the church environment.

We are on the continual lookout for willing, teachable brothers and sisters in our midst who have the sincere desire of serving the Lord and growing this ministry for the many generations to come. Technical skills, though preferred, are not a pre-requisite for admission into this ministry.
